For the years temporomandibular joint disorders have been examined with electronic condylar movement recordings. The axiographic findings should reference to the seriousness of the disease. In literature, there exists a discussion about the certainty of diagnosis of 2D axiographic pathways. This study shows that 3D axiographic and magnetic-resonance-imaging are necessary to come to a certain diagnosis of internal derangement.
