What should you bring?

Please only bring personal items you will need during your hospitalisation. Because of the restricted space in the hospital rooms, we would like to ask you to limit your personal belongings to the minimum. Items necessary for your stay are:

Please keep spectacles, contact lenses, hearing aids and dentures in your bed-side table or locker, in their proper containers. Our nursing staff will provide containers on request. Please do not lay these items under the pillow or on the table wrapped in paper or handkerchiefs. They could be lost or damaged when staff are tidying up.

In every patient’s room there is a TV, and a radio will be found built into every bed-side table. Portable devices may not be brought into the wards because they can interfere with the functioning of medical equipment.

Please leave at home anything not required on a daily basis.
We recommend you leave larger sums of money at home. In the event of an emergency admission, please ask family or friends to take care of your valuables. In exceptional cases, money and valuables can be deposited without charge at the cashier’s desk in the entrance foyer for the duration of your stay.

In the rooms in wings B4 and C4 there is a safe in every cupboard where your valuables can be stored. See also "Legal matters”.
