Please only bring personal items you will need during your hospitalisation. Because of the restricted space in the hospital rooms, we would like to ask you to limit your personal belongings to the minimum. Items necessary for your stay are:
Please keep medical devices such as glasses or contact lenses, dentures or hearing aids in the intended boxes (available upon request with the nursing staff) in your bedside table or in the lockable wardrobe for safekeeping.
Each patient room is equipped with a television set and a radio. Additional TVs or radios may not be used for operational safety reasons of medical equipment.
Please leave unnecessary items at home. Please do not bring any items you do not need for your hospital stay. Furthermore, we do not recommend bringing larger sums of money or valuables. Emergency patients may want to give any larger sum of money to one of their relatives for safekeeping.
In exceptional cases, money and valuables might be deposited against receipt and without charge at the cashier’s office of the University Hospital (located in the entrance hall) for the duration of your stay. The wardrobes in the rooms of buildings B4 and C4 (see directory) are equipped with a safe. If staying in these rooms, please use the safe for safekeeping your valuables (see legal relationships – liability).
